Slow down and nourish your body, mind, and spirit through this gentle practice blending Yin & Restorative Yoga. In Yin Yoga, we sink into longer-held, floor-based postures to allow for release and rejuvenation of the deep connective tissues of the body. In Restorative postures, we utilize blocks, blankets, and bolsters to fully support us in complete relaxation and surrender. These practices activate the parasympathetic nervous system (rest & digest) helping us to let go of and become more resilient to stress. Conscious stillness and inward focus calm the mind and guide us into natural states of meditation. Great for beginners and all levels. Come practice with me!
